The department of Endocrinology is conducting following courses

  1. MD in endocrinology & Metabolism under Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.
  2. FCPS in endocrinology & Metabolism under Bangladesh College of Physician & Surgeons

ACADEMIC ACTIVATES

Morning Session:

  1. Regular morning session are conducted for clinical discussion.

 

Case Presentation:

  1. Clinical students present academically important case/ difficult cases once in every week followed by discussion.
  2. Present academically important case/ difficult case in the central presentation as per schedule

 

Journal Club:

  1. Department of Endocrinology conduct journal club weekly.

 

Lecture Class:

  1. Faculty takes lecture for both Phase A & Phase B MD student & Part II FCPS students & trainees.

 

CME:

  1. Department of endocrinology participate actively in the CME organized by medical education unit & presented their part as per schedule.
  2. Department of Endocrinology conduct regular CME on concerned issues like management of DM in Ramandan, Management of DM in covid, etc.

 

Celebration of Special Days:

  1. World diabetes day: like every year, department of endocrinology celebrated world diabetes day with rally, seminar, diabetic screening for free, public awareness program etc.
  2. The department also celebrate world thyroid day, world osteoporosis day etc.
